This is my new go to book. Like I have stated in the past, grammar and I are not the best of friends. However I do wish to be. This book is awesome. It's written by teachers for teachers. It clear explains details of how grammar works, with comprehensive examples and exercises to help you learn and understand some fundamentals of grammar. I've only just started this book and I already love it.
These text are really helpful, especial when you are explaining ideas/ concepts to your student. These text by Blake, are part of a collection. I found these in BigW for $5-$10. Can't remember exactly the price. I like these book not only can you use them in your teaching, but they are colourful and easy to read so you can let your students read them. They are great as the proved example, so you don't have to. As for the NAPLAN books, these are great, I wish I had these when I was younger. I hated test or assignment. I never understood what make a good story verse a great story. And now I know the difference thanks to these books.
